Hi everyone!

I'm delighted to introduce myself as a candidate for the Executive Committee. This past year, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed serving as the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity Officer- a role that has been both fulfilling and enlightening.

My experience in this position has deepened my commitment to fostering an environment where every member feels valued, respected, and included.

Looking ahead to the possibility of joining the Executive Committee, I’m excited to build upon the foundations we've established this year. I believe that diversity enriches our society and broadens our perspectives. Therefore, I’m committed to continuing our efforts to ensure that all voices are not only heard but celebrated in our events, workshops, and initiatives.

With a background in event planning, collaboration, and leadership developed through my involvement in various subcommittees and extracurricular activities, I’m equipped to contribute effectively to our society.

I’m passionate about exploring new avenues for growth and innovation within Surgical Society. From expanding our educational workshops to creating partnerships with other organisations, I am committed to enhancing our member’s experiences and our society’s impact. If elected, I’ll bring the same integrity, dedication, and enthusiasm that defined our committee last year.
