Hello!

My name is Zara, and I am applying to be a GenExec for SurgSoc!

This year, I have becoming increasingly interested in surgery as a speciality, as I have realised that the dynamic energy of the profession is something I am really drawn too. Having attended many of the SurgSoc Speciality Spotlight talks for the last 3 years, as well as getting involved with examining for SurgSoc’s Mock CPA, I would this opportunity to become more involved in the amazing committee!

I have been involved in events and sponsorship roles within various societies; I am organised, forward-thinking and would be able to add value to the society. But overall, I am really passionate about surgery, and would love to get involved in the running of the society :)
