Hey everyone! I’m Logan, and I hope you give me the opportunity to help you next year as a student trustee. I have experience in financial management, advocating for students, and policy reform, which I will use to benefit you in this role.
As the RCSU Treasurer, this year I have:
- Spoken out in Felix against shop changes that make it harder for societies to sell products
- Changed policy to allow societies to purchase food with grant money from the Union
I hope to improve ICU as student trustee, and here is what I will advocate for:
- Giving space back to students, and with the closing of the chaplaincy, students need more space now than ever
- Creating an enforceable timeframe for the Activities Team to approve events faster, enabling societies to plan events reliably
- Lowering the cost of Union products and bolstering the student experience fund, making participating in the Union and societies affordable
- Creating robust support systems for disabled students and students experiencing mental health struggles
