Antonia Williams
Hi, I’m Antonia, I’m a 4th year medic and I’m running to be your secretary next year. I’ve been a part of the society this year and I’ve loved getting involved with play team this term! I think I would be a great fit for this role because I am approachable and will always be happy to deal with any enquiries about the society! I’m also organised and will keep on top of all responsibilities that the role entails.
One of the ways that I’ve developed these skills is during my time as secretary for IC Book Club. This involved sending out newsletters using mailchimp and keeping members informed of how they can interact with the society. As part of this role, I worked closely with other committee members to ensure important objectives were completed in time. I believe that the experience I gained from that role will help me work closely with the Paediatrics committee and keep the newsletters informative and relevant.
If you vote for me I will continue the work that the current secretaries have done. I will liaise with the members of your committee regularly so that all important communication is sent out in the newsletters. As well as this, I want to work closely with the publicity officer to coordinate the information being shared. Above all, I will be consistent with sending out newsletters monthly and add extra ones when necessary!
