Min Ann Ng

Hi, I’m Min Ann and I would love to be your next Paediatrics Society’s secretary! Over the past year, I have been actively involved with Playteam, allowing me to gain firsthand insight into how rewarding and meaningful the various events and activities planned by the society are. I would love to be even more involved within the society in the upcoming academic year to continue its good work.

I have held multiple leadership positions over the past year (eg. Innovations Officer - FoMSF and Treasurer - OCF), which involved me planning a city-wide Hackathon and coordinating multiple events with different universities across London. This allowed me to hone my communication skills, use critical thinking to problem solve and sustain healthy team dynamics through effective collaboration. I am also a highly organised and detail-oriented individual. As Head of Internal Affairs in school, I was in charge of complex administrative tasks and managing the Prefectorial Board. This experience highlighted to me the importance of keeping clear minutes to keep everyone in the committee on the same page and adhering to deadlines. Moreover, I also learnt how to adapt to different team dynamics, and delegating tasks to capitalise on each person's strengths.

To conclude, I believe my valuable leadership experiences complemented by my proactive and responsible nature makes me an excellent candidate for the position. I am confident that I would be able to best manage the administrative needs of the society, while contributing to the Paediatrics society’s ethos and goals. Thank you!
