Endocrinology: Subcommittee Member

I would love to be a part of the subcommittee for Endocrinology society, my interest for endocrinology has grown significantly over the past year as a result of my learning and experiences. During my placement on the endocrinology ward, I became fascinated by the complexity and depth of endocrinological conditions as I was able to witness my learning from lectures in actual patients. This sparked a genuine enthusiasm for the speciality and the way that hormonal imbalances can affect multiple body systems. I have really annoyed the teaching provided for endocrinology last year and believe I have developed a strong foundation in endocrinology as a result. I am confident with the content that has been taught and am enjoying building on my knowledge through the convent covered this year. I'm looking forward to being able to apply my knowledge and understanding to future clinical endocrinological scenarios. Beans a part of the subcommittee would be a great opportunity to deepen my knowledge further and learn from other who share the same interests as me. In particular I would enjoy helping organise teaching sessions and activities that encourage students to explore endocrinology as a career choice and develop their confidence in the speciality. I would bring enthusiasm, commitment and passion while providing and developing my own leadership, team work, organisation and teaching skills. Overall I am excited to be able to contribute to a society to help foster others interest in endocrinology, the same way my own clinical experience and learning has!
