Aarani Sayanthan

Hi everyone, my name is Aarani and I’m incredibly excited to be running for subcommittee this year. Having previously served on the Paediatrics Academic subcommittee and Tamil Society’s subcommittee, I have experience organising and helping plan events, including the 'Meet the Paeds' conference and Games Night. I have a strong foundation in committee operations from coordinating with healthcare professionals to executing successful events. Additionally, my experience being Head of Netball for Imperial Tamil Society has sharpened my communication, leadership and teamwork skills. I am eager to bring this experience and dedication to Endocrinology Society.

For me, this role is about supporting committee members and understanding the inner workings of the society while simultaneously diving deeper into endocrinology. I am keen to assist the committee in organising engaging academic socials and conferences. I am also interested in bridging the gap between members and committee, and willing to gather feedback to ensure that our events reflect what members would like to see.

I would love the opportunity to contribute to endosoc and support committee members in delivering a great year for everyone!
