Hi everyone! I'm Zaha Kirmizitoprak, and after a rewarding year as your Year 1 Academic Representative, I'm excited to run again!

We've all heard that the Year 2 workload is no joke! That's why I'm determined to make our transition as smooth as possible, ensuring we have the support, resources, and communication needed to navigate the challenges ahead.

Last year, I promised to listen, represent your concerns, and turn feedback into meaningful change. Together, we made it happen! From achieving a record number of responses to improving CBI F2F sessions, increasing formative opportunities in INTS, and raising awareness of BMB's identity within the Faculty of Medicine.

But there's more to accomplish! Here's what voting for me means:

Z – Zero Voices Left Unheard

Representation means more than speaking for those who speak up. I'll continue making feedback accessible and unintimidating, ensuring every student has the opportunity to shape our academic experience.

A – Action

Having worked with faculty to address concerns about F2F sessions, feedback channels and assessments, I know how to turn concerns into discussions and solutions.

H – Honesty

Transparency matters. I'll keep you informed about discussions with faculty, what's changing, and what still needs work.

A – Ambition

I want to build on our progress by strengthening BMB's identity within the Faculty of Medicine and ensuring our academic experience continues improving throughout Year 2.
