Anoushka Kumar

Hi everyone, I’m Anoushka, a second year medical student, and I’m running to be Head of Subcommittee for FemTech!

I’m really excited about what FemTech represents. As a medic, I’m constantly reminded of the gaps that still exist in women’s health, and I think spaces like this are important for pushing conversations forward and encouraging innovation. I’d love to contribute by helping the team behind the society work as smoothly and effectively as possible.

For me, this role is about being organised, approachable, and proactive. I want the subcommittee to feel clear on what they’re working towards and supported throughout the process. That means good communication, realistic timelines, and making sure no one feels left behind when things get busy.

Through my experience in organising events and working within committees, I’ve developed strong coordination and teamwork skills. I’m someone who follows up, keeps track of details, and helps maintain momentum so ideas actually turn into well run events, and I would love to use these skills to help strengthen the team that helps drive this society forward!
