Maheen Shah

Hi, I'm Maheen a first-year Biochemistry student who's passionate about women’s health, emerging technology and expanding opportunities for women in STEM. I want to ensure our society builds the partnerships necessary to match the scale of this movement.

As the current External Liaison Officer for the Femtech Society, I have already been working directly with external organisations to help coordinate networking fairs and conferences. This role has given me practical experience in:

• Initiating and maintaining professional relationships
• Communicating society value propositions clearly
• Coordinating with companies to ensure mutual benefit
• Supporting event execution alongside sponsors

Alongside this, my experience as associate consultant representing 180 degrees consulting and Imperial Consulting Group on projects with femtech startups such as Lutea, has strengthened my ability to engage clients professionally, manage long-term relationships, and think strategically about partnership growth
