Hi, I’m Anoushka, a second-year medical student at Imperial running to be your FemTech Sponsorship Officer!

FemTech at Imperial is already an exciting and ambitious space, bringing together people who care about women’s health, innovation and closing long-standing gaps in care. I’d love to build on that momentum by strengthening the external partnerships that allow our ideas and events to grow even further.

Through medicine, I’ve seen how complex and nuanced women’s health is, and how much opportunity there is for better research, better technology and better delivery of care. That perspective helps me approach sponsorship with intention, as it’s not just about funding, but about aligning with organisations that are genuinely contributing to progress in this field.

If elected, my focus would be on building strong, long-term relationships with companies, startups and organisations that share our values. I also want to prioritise opportunities that directly benefit our members. That could mean career insight events, mentorship, internships, collaborative projects or speaker panels with people actively working in FemTech. The goal is to make sure our partnerships translate into tangible exposure and experience for members.

Most importantly, I would approach the role with reliability and consistency. Clear communication, timely follow-ups and careful relationship management are what turn initial conversations into lasting collaborations.

FemTech already has a strong foundation and I would love to contribute by securing the partnerships that help it continue to thrive and expand its impact!
