If I’m elected for this position I will give y’all the opportunity to network like never before!!

I used to be the Chair of my schools Chemistry Society back home where, amongst other things, I organised a visit from one of the 2025 Nobel prize laureates in Chemistry.

I have already been in contact with people in pharmaceutical companies, like Novo Nordisk, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Octapharma. They’d be delighted to pay us a visit and give industry insight.

I’ve also reached out to people in other fields like consulting and business. My goal is to build a network from all industries to provide maximum opportunities for everyone. I will also maintain the good relations that ChemSoc already has with many employers.

I will organise seminars targeted for the lower years to give exposure to industry early on and as well as careers advice from top employers. I will bridge students and industrial contacts to provide opportunities, for example, internships and work experience to help you improve your resume.

If I’m elected for this position, I will use this network to all our benefit!! We’re in this together guys. Let’s get us some amazing careers!!!
