I’m running for Trauma Chair!
Last year, I was part of the Trauma committee, working across many aspects of the conference, days and nights, to help make it a success. That experience gave me a real understanding of what it takes to deliver an event of this scale, and it strengthened my commitment to making it even better.
Trauma is one of the biggest events of the year, and I carry the skillset, experience, and dedication to run an event of this magnitude. I will continue hosting our diverse range of leading trauma surgeons, and the high-quality, hands-on sessions that students consistently value. The improvements that I will bring are:

Organising Trauma Conference, I have developed a strong network of trauma surgeons, sponsors, and workshop leads, which will allow us to secure high-quality speakers and hands-on opportunities.
Having actively attended many SurgSoc conferences, I understand what works well. I want to use that experience to ensure our conference will be an unforgettable learning experience for everyone attending and organising.
