Hi guys! I'm Yeona, a third year student and I'm really excited to be running for Events Officer!
I'd love to bring more variety to DoCSoc events - from chill activities like painting or terrarium making workshops, to more lively and social events like immersive cocktail experiences and barnights (gaming socials too 👀 - maybe even a DoCSoc Minecraft server?).. DoCSoc has been such a big part of the memories I've made at Imperial, and I want to help create even more memorable experiences for everyone.
This year, I had the opportunity to organise and host several events as one of the current DoCSoc Events Officers, including the recent climbing and cat cafe social. Through this, I gained a better understanding of how DoCSoc events are planned and run, and I’d love to build on what I’ve learned to organise even more events next year.
