Hi everyone! I'm Luciano, a first-year computing student who you've probably seen on your reels (@compscivlogss) 😂😂
I was also a long-term ICHack volunteer this year, and as Events Officer, I'd love to organise events that maintains the DocSoc hype 🔥🔥 - making sure everyone stays jealous of how good AND how cheap our events are (and maybe film some reels along the way)!
Having been part of most DoCSoc events this year, I’ve loved every moment and learned what makes events run seamlessly - and unforgettable. I want to bring that energy and experience to DoCSoc next year as your Events Officer
Speaking of, here's something to expect next year:
- Go even bigger on Food & Drinks: Who doesn’t love more free pizza (less Dominos though - you'll definitely see an upgrade) or a cheeky bubble tea. Let's host more events with more free food 🍕.
- More of the popular events: I promise cat cafe and go karting WILL happen again
- DocSoc-wide games and Events with other schools: Something to get everything involved - so you can meet new people (maybe you'll find a Valentine for 2027! ❤️❤️)
- Your Ideas, Your Events: Feedback forms after every event so your voice shapes our calendar 🗣️
