Marco Armanna

Hi everyone! I’m Marco, a first-year Materials Science student, and I’m excited to be running for Secretary of MatSoc! With a strong interest in organisation, teamwork, and clear communication, I’m eager to help our society run efficiently, stay connected throughout the year and work on the merch, maybe even coming up with something new!

For those who know me as your Academic Rep, you’ve already seen how much I value communication and collaboration. Whether you think I’ve done a great job or there’s still room for improvement, please know that every decision I make is with the intention of helping all of us succeed academically and socially.

If elected as Secretary, I’ll bring that same commitment, reliability, and honest effort to this role. I’ll make sure our meetings are well-organized, our information is effectively shared, and our society continues to be a space where everyone feels included and engaged.
