Yuvraj Gupta

Hi everyone! I’m Yuvraj, and I’m running to be your RCSU Vice President (Education).

Over the past year, I’ve served as a Year 2 Academic Rep and an Events Officer within RCSU, working directly with students, staff, and the Union to organise initiatives and represent academic concerns. Through this, I’ve seen how powerful clear student voice can be when it’s organised, consistent, and persistent.

As VP (Education), I want to strengthen academic representation across all departments, ensuring reps feel supported, informed, and confident in their roles. I’d work to improve communication between students and faculty, push for greater transparency around assessments and feedback, and create more structured exam and revision support initiatives across RCS disciplines.

Education isn’t just about lectures and exams. It’s about clarity, fairness, and feeling that your concerns genuinely lead to action. I want to make RCSU a strong, reliable platform for academic advocacy, while keeping it collaborative and solutions focused.

I care deeply about improving the student experience, not just reacting to problems but anticipating them and working proactively with departments.
