Hey everyone! We are Sohani and Rajveer, and we're running to be your Events Officers!
We have HEAPS of experience (just enough) between the both of us - from planning amazing group club nights out to successfully navigating the dark realms of holiday planning, there are no two people better suited to this role than us.
In terms of more applicable experience, we were both selected to be prefects in sixth form (wow...). Alumni of our schools can vouch for the diligence and passion with which we oversaw MASSIVE school events, including iconic school fairs (Rajveer had hay fever and cried in the corner the whole time).
On a more serious note though, IndianSoc events have turned out to be the highlights of the year for us and it would be an honour to be in charge of planning next year's SPECTACULAR events for you all :D
Events we would slay (ew sohani chose slay):
- Unforgettable club nights and after parties (NOT Tiger Tiger)
- UTSAV 2.0 (hard to top)
- More laid-back and regular events to hang out with others (movie nights, karaoke nights, games nights)
- IndianSoc Cook-off??
We wholeheartedly believe we would do an amazing job as events officers, and after such a convincing manifesto, we hope you think so too (I can see what they're, what he's doin. I can see it, I feel it. I can... I can... he's cooking)
