As Events Heads, we plan on bringing the Indian stereotype of a big extended family to reality, here at Indiansoc.
To achieve that, we’re focusing on the 3 E’s: engagement, enthusiasm, and excitement. We intend on forming an active subcommittee that runs smaller, regular events, keeping our community lively and engaging. We also want to collaborate more with cultural societies across London, and host more activities celebrating south Indian culture as much as a north Indian one (just like our partnership!), giving you larger, more inclusive, and diverse events.
If you know us, you’re sure to find us enthusiastically participating in every Indiansoc event. Being part of subcommittee, we have also actively participated in running them and are in constant communication with committee members. As such, we have a refined perspective on how to transform, engage more people in, and yes, bring MUCH better vibes to every event at Indiansoc. We strongly believe that we can achieve this through the above goals, and generally striving to make your events enjoyable to the fullest, in every regard.
Most importantly, building a family vibe is all about the connections you make, the laughs you share, and also, of course, dancing/singing your heart out to classic Indian songs (on repeat) at all of our events. With us as Events Heads, you'll have a DHAMAKEDAR year ahead, with multiple unforgettable events in store.
