Hi all!

I'm Haider, the current ICSMSU President. I'm putting myself forward for the role of SurgSoc Treasurer so that I can contribute and support the running of the society next year.

Treasurer is a primarily logistical role and I have a very substantial amount of experience in society finance - having spent a full year working for the Union, in addition to more than 25 other roles in my 5 years of ICSM so far, including AfgSoc Treasurer, Sign Language President and Sites and Services Officer in ICSMSU in addition to my ICSMSU President year. I'm very familiar with Claims, POs, budgets as well as all the other logistical aspects of society running on which I can share wisdom.

Having me on the SurgSoc committee comes with the additional benefit of a good working personal relationship with ICU and the very in-depth consistent experience with the bylaws and rules we need to work within. You can rely on me in this role!

I hope to pursue a career in surgery and as such, I am incredibly motivated and passionate about benefitting the SurgSoc committee as best as I can - both within my role and beyond!
