Katherine Baker

Hi everyone! I’m Katherine, a second-year Biology student.

Here’s why you should vote for me :)

• If elected, I’ll keep everyone up to date with regular emails and announcements about upcoming events, meetings and important information. I’ll also make sure meeting notes are taken, records are kept organised, and everything runs as smoothly as possible behind the scenes.
• I have experience organising events from leading my school’s charity committee, where I helped plan events, create spreadsheets and forms, and coordinate with teachers. This taught me the importance of good organisation, communication and making sure everything is planned properly!
• I’m a dependable and organised person who likes keeping things in order (I’m a chronic planner and itinerary maker). I’m also happy to take responsibility and make sure things get done, and I’d love to bring these skills to the role.
• Most importantly, I want to help make the Biology Society an enjoyable and welcoming place for everyone. I’d be happy to help the committee wherever I can and make sure members are kept informed and included.
