Diego Buenfil Garcia

Hello,

My name is Diego, and I'm a taught Master's student in the Advanced Chemical Engineering program. Originally from Mexico, I spent two years as a member of my university's student council and served as a coordinator for an international student chapter of the American Chemical Society.

But most importantly, here is why I am running for Vice President. As someone with many vices, presidency seems... jk.

The real reason is that my first few weeks here have been as exciting as they've been daunting. Imperial is full of opportunities and resources, but it can easily become overwhelming. More than once, I wished for someone to help me navigate inductions, societies, safety resources, and complex guidelines.I want to be that person for our cohort. We are only just beginning our programmes, and we can face these new challenges together. My commitment to you is simple: I'll do my best to listen, accompany, and represent you, as well as keeping you inform of anything notable for us as MSc engineering students and as members of the Imperial community.
