Postgraduate taught students are at Imperial for a short, intense year, and every one of us deserves someone in our corner who genuinely cares that it’s the best experience it can be. As your VP Postgraduate Taught, I’ll be that person.

I believe wellbeing and quality of education should be held to the highest standard. To get there, the Faculty needs to hear from students regularly, not just at the end of the year when it’s too late to change anything. I’ll work with Department Representatives to gather feedback throughout the year and bring it directly to Faculty student-staff committee meetings, making sure your concerns are raised, followed up, and answered.

I’ll also work closely with the Deputy Presidents for Education and Welfare, so academic and wellbeing issues are tackled together rather than in isolation.

Just as importantly, you should be able to tell CGCU what you want to see from it. I’ll make it easy to share your ideas, whether through surveys, open conversations, or your department reps, and I’ll push to turn them into action.

My goal is simple: to help current and future cohorts have a solid experience at Imperial, and to leave things better than I found it.
