Param Vastani

Business School (UG): Year One Academic Representative

Hi Everyone!

I'm Param from the Chelsea stream and I'm running to be your year academic rep. The reason I'm doing so is because, well, I love academics, and I thought this would be a great chance to try and improve not just mine, but everyone's experience as we start our degrees. Given how EFDS is a newer programme, our feedbacks can really be helpful in optimising our time here.

While I don't have a long list of policies, I do have a couple of things I'll do including-

1) Feedback- I mean obviously, this is what the role is. I'll do my best to serve as the link between students and the programme team, and you all can tell me whats good or bad through whatever channel, whether that's in-person, DMs, ed discussion, anonymous survey forms and so on.

2) Exam Related Info- I've seen a lot of people wondering about how university exams are going to be, what kind of questions are asked and how grading is done. With your feedback, I hope to clear up any ambiguity regarding all this, if any, in the future as we get closer to exams.

This covers the major stuff that I expect to do off the bat if elected.

That's kind of the end of my manifesto. I appreciate it if you're reading this and I think it would be REALLY AWESOME if you voted for me.

Thanks :D
