Good wellbeing is essential for a good degree. At Imperial, despite the many, excellent wellbeing services for students, it is often the case that some students are left out. Some students struggle through the tough questions and challenges of the course with no time or motivation to speak out for help or enjoy their time at university. Such students become overwhelmed. Worn down. In need of a beacon of light to solve their issues
Wellbeing and mental health are vitally important for our lives. Good health includes feeling content, happy and a sense of belonging in the Imperial Computing community. Such a mindset can motivate students to perserve in their struggles, feel better each day and walk head high and strong into their adult stages of life.
I want to help make that dream a reality for students in the Computing course. Vote me for Computing (UG): Year One Wellbeing Representative and I will help all students by increasing ties between the wellbeing departments in Computing, helping organise events to raise awareness for mental health, and organising a massive outreach program encouraging students to undertake soothing, enjoyable and memorable activities to help them enjoy their university days.
