Diya Tibrewal

My name is Diya Tibrewal, and I am a student in the Master's of Science in Epidemiology programme at the Imperial College School of Public Health. I am running for course representative for the Master's of Science in Epidemiology because I want to help facilitate a smooth, productive graduate school experience for my coursemates.

As the course representative, I would ensure that:

1) All members of the course have the ability to make their voice heard and give feedback to the committee, teaching team, or the College at any point in their graduate journey

2) Any communication between the members of the programme and the committee, teaching team, or College is carried out in a fair and timely manner

3) The needs of all course members are advocated for and met to the best of the committee, teaching team, or College's ability

To act on the above, I will also ensure consistent dialogue between members of the course, myself, fellow representatives, and the committee.

My prior experience as an executive committee member of several student societies during my undergraduate degree has taught me to understand the needs of the communities I serve and take the necessary steps to support them best.

I would be honoured to represent the student population for the academic year of 2026-2027 and be given the opportunity to contribute to a better college experience for all.
