Tired of seeing things not going to plan? Vote for Aman!
Kind, considerate, decisive (handsome, tall ...) are just a few of the words widely used to describe me. But on a serious note, why me for Chem Eng academic rep?
Well apart from the fact that I didn't use Claude to write this, I happen to be an excellent communicator who will be able to listen to all of the needs of my fellow peers (no matter how strange) and pass this on to departmental reps to enforce change. Annoyed about not being able to drink water in a maths lecture? Problem solved. Frustrated by the lack of time available to complete a deliverable? Problem solved. Infuriated by 9ams from Monday to Friday? Okay this one may not get solved.
Above all however, I want everyone in our cohort to succeed during their time at Imperial, whether this be academically or on a personal level. If I can act as a voice for powerful changes to the way we learn and experience the course (in order to reduce stress and hopefully prevent our hairlines from receding), then this is something I will forever be proud of.
Having been in positions of responsibility before (house captain and senior prefect), it's safe to say that I'm ready for the big leagues. Vote me in as Chem Eng academic rep TODAY!!!
