"I doubt, therefore I think, therefore I am." - Descartes.
My Message to You:
Doubting is what gave rise to Descartes' famous quote, and doubting is what I believe all academic representatives should do, and help you do the same.
- Doubting the Course
- Ensuring suitability of content for everyone
- Overseeing intricacies of the course
- Reviewing the timeliness of syllabi with respect to scientific progress
- Doubting Teaching Methods
- Monitoring the pace of teaching in lectures
- Enabling accessibility to all available resources
- Guiding physical and online discussions
- Doubting Ourselves
- Reviewing notes to reinforce understanding
- Approaching problems from multiple perspectives
- Participating in university with a growth mindset
- How to Doubt: The above aims will be addressed through means including but not limited to: anonymous surveys, interviews, online feedback, and etcetera, on a regular basis.
About Myself:
Born in Beijing, studied in Singapore, and now in London; I have always been inspired by the perpetually-widening scope of the international communities I grew up in, and wish to integrate myself (and you) into the diverse, multicultural academic and social networks Imperial offers. With a 44 in IB and a bilingual diploma, I am equipped with the academic skills of research and communication, which I intend to share with you to cultivate a catalytic, collaborative, and compassionate community. I will be able to provide a multiperspective view regarding what the Physics course should be like, such that my peers, regardless of A-Level, IB, or any other backgrounds, can freely doubt, therefore think, and therefore thrive.
