I’m running to be Year 1 Aero Representative because I want us to make the most of being part of one of the world’s leading engineering communities.
Like many of you, my passion for aeronautics stems from a strong foundation in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, alongside a desire to understand how engineering can shape the future of flight. Beyond academics, I’ve built national educational platforms and student communities, learning how to turn ideas into practical solutions, building up skills and networks I wish to use in this role to benefit my peers.
If elected, my priorities will be:
1. A stronger student voice: My mission is for students to have the best experience, which means your voice will help me raise recurring concerns with the relevant staff, and keep our year group informed on the progress of these concerns
2. A more connected cohort: Helping students support one another, academically and socially, is another crucial aspect. Under my representation, everyone will have each other's back.
3. A culture of excellence: I want Aero to be the frontier. I will champion opportunities to share projects, celebrate achievements and connect our year group with the wider aerospace community.
Our department will be the pinnacle of Imperial.
I believe representation means more than listening; it means following through.
I will bring initiative and genuine enthusiasm to the role, while ensuring our priorities reflect the whole year group.
We will build a cohort that excels together, and a reputation that speaks for itself.
