Ben Hughes

I am currently coaching at KCS Wimbledon where I started out, and I'm already involved with the novices here at Imperial.

What I care about is making sure novices actually enjoy the process. Learning to row is hard enough — the experience around it should be well-organised, welcoming, and worth showing up for. Having coached juniors at KCS, I know how much the early weeks shape whether someone sticks with the sport long-term. I want to get that right here.

I'm on the water, I know the club, and I'm invested in the people coming through. That's what I'd bring to the role.
