Hi I'm Nerjis and I'm running for the role of Conference Chair for the Transplant and Vascular Society!

I’m running for Conference Chair because I want to help students discover and get excited about vascular and transplant surgery — it’s such an interesting, specialty that many don’t get to see up close, or even consider pursuing. Attending this year’s conference really opened my eyes to how interesting and rewarding a career in vascular surgery can be.

I’ve organised events before, so I know how to keep things running smoothly. I’d love to invite more surgeons to speak about their experiences and day to day lives, add more amazing hands-on workshops, and make sure the conference is well advertised so everyone who’s interested can join.

I want it to be a conference where students can learn, ask questions, connect with surgeons, and leave feeling inspired about the specialty. I’m approachable, organised, and ready to make it happen.
