My name is Ahmad and I would be delighted to be your VCPE President next year!
As an incoming Investment Banking Intern at a U.S. Bulge Bracket Investment Bank (with exposure to Leveraged Finance / Financial Sponsors Group) and previous internships in FIG M&A and Private Credit, I believe I am well-placed to lead VCPE to a successful year in 2026/27.
You may have seen me previously at the Algorithmic Trading Society and prior to that as a founder of Queen’s Tower Capital. I authored the Securities Education Certificate at the Investment Society, which I helped lead to be ranked #1 in the UK for Business and Finance in 2023! I aim to use my vast experience to benefit you, the members of VCPE so that you can maximise your experience!
As a founding member of VCPE, there are a few initiatives I would like to focus on for next year:
- Consistent application support to help you improve interview performance and develop tangible soft skills e.g. Financial Modelling, Presentation Skills and more.
- Expand the society’s educational courses to focus on Private Credit, Distressed Debt, Securitised Products and more!
- Organise a wider variety of events so you can showcase your skills and build upon e.g. the VCPE-led inaugural UK & Europe Restructuring Competition.
I aim to utilise my industry connections and experience to benefit every member. I am committed to ensure you benefit from VCPE, and most importantly, have a lot of fun!
