Izaak Jankowski
Radiology Society: Research Lead
My name is Izaak, I am currently in my third year and I am very grateful for the opportunity to run for research lead.
My interest in radiology began when I was in year 12, where I did my EPQ on different methods of radiotherapy. I hope to use my interest and experience to help others explore this dynamic field of medicine. Having lead multiple projects, I enjoy working in teams to explore existing research and come up with original ideas.
- I aim to reach out to radiologists and facilitate networking with students who are interested, to provide opportunities for anyone with an interest or curiosity.
- I would also like to run a journal club which discusses the developments and advancements within the field and increase awareness of the cutting-edge research that is happening.
- In addition, I would like to help with teaching and the creation of resources that would be helpful to students approaching their exams.
With radiology diagnostics and therapeutics being such an impactful and integral part of medicine within various disciplines, I hope to bring this passion to help others explore this dynamic career path, and how research can be used to facilitate advancements in care.
