Hey everyone!
We’re Anshi and Sissi, first-year EFDS students hoping to serve as your Heads of Sell-Side Corporate Relations.
Over the past year, we’ve gained broad exposure to investment banking, equity research, and capital markets through internships, projects, QTC and fellowships. With active involvement in ICIS events, we have built strong connections with members and the current committee, ensuring a smooth transition. We have also secured several Spring Week offers, which will allow us to build closer relationships with firms.
We will strive to be highly approachable and responsive, and are always open to direct messages and suggestions, aiming to respond within 24 hours. We will also regularly collect feedback through surveys, ensuring events and partnerships align with members' needs.
We believe access matters. The right exposure and network can shape a career in finance.
Our Goals:
- Stronger & Wider Access - Maintaining strong relationships with our current partner firms while expanding connections with elite boutiques, mid-market banks, etc.
- Expand event offerings - By securing additional sponsorship and funding, we hope to increase the frequency, quality, and exclusivity of events, including insight days, office visits, etc., aiming to help members build personal industry connections and gain potential fast-track opportunities.
- Mentorship & Long-Term Support - Moving beyond one-off events to build long-term relationships, we plan to launch a 1-to-1 mentorship scheme with alumni in leading firms, providing members personalised career guidance.
With these efforts, we're confident to make ICIS a strong, credible bridge between students and companies.
