Korhan Karadere
Hi everyone, I’m Korhan Karadere, a 2nd year MEng Biomedical Engineering student at Imperial, and I’m running for Head of Sell-Side Corporate Relations.
I’ve spent this year doing roles about outreach, stakeholder management, and delivering things properly. I was a Project Manager at Imperial Consultancy Society, and in IC Finance Society (FinSoc) I served as Head of Marketing and Head of External Speakers. Through FinSoc, I also saw how sponsor relationships are maintained and activated with firms such as Nomura, Rothschild & Co, and Houlihan Lokey.
If elected, I will:

Work closely with the President and Treasurer to run a structured sponsorship pipeline (target list, sponsor package, tracked follow-ups, and a handover that doesn’t reset every year).

Maintain sponsor relationships year-round, not just when we need something — consistent touchpoints, professional comms, and smooth delivery.

Make sure sponsorship translates into real member value: more sell-side insight sessions, recruiting Q&As, and smaller networking formats that are genuinely useful.
