Plastic Surgery: Secretary

Hello everyone! My name is Aarush Sahoo, and I am currently a third-year student at ICSM. I am running to be your iPRAS Secretary for the 2026–27 academic year. Here are a few reasons why I am uniquely suited to be your iPRAS Secretary and how I can benefit our society in the coming year.

As Secretary, I will ensure our meetings are structured and efficient, with clear agendas, accurate minutes, and timely follow-ups so that no ideas are lost, and every committee member feels supported. I am detail-oriented and reliable, and I understand that strong administrative foundations are what allow our conferences, teaching events, and networking opportunities to succeed.

Having worked with the committee on Emergencies in Plastics this year, I know how crucial effective dialogue is to success, and I aim to support all members, no matter the situation, to achieve the best outcomes.

Through my previous leadership roles, including serving as head of debating societies in high school, I have developed the ability to coordinate teams, manage logistics, and communicate clearly with a wide range of people. I have also gained insight into how iPRAS functions behind the scenes this year through my time on the subcommittee, and where we can improve workflow and transparency.

If elected, I will prioritise smooth internal communication, accessible documentation, and proactive planning to help next year’s committee thrive.

I hope to have your vote.

Best,

Aarush
