Women in Business: Secretary

HI ALL! I'm Tanvi, a 1st year Biomedical Engineering student, and I'm running to be your next Secretary.

You might be wondering - a first year? What could she even bring to the table?
I actually see this as my greatest asset. I'm not here for a one-year stint; I hope to stay on committee, grow WITH WIB and contribute to sustained, long-term progress-not just a one-year plan.

With an upcoming HSBC spring-internship, SEC certificate and regular attendance at WIB events, I've already immersed myself in the spaces WIB creates - and I want to help strengthen them from within.

What I strive for as secretary-
•I take communication seriously. If I'm secretary you can expect immediate responses(my unreal screentime definitely vouches for this) and no information gaps. If something matters, you'll know about it.
•Transparency & feedback: ideas shouldn't disappear after meetings. I will make sure member suggestions translate into visible action and clear updates.
•Make wib FEEL like WIB - approachable, creative and not just "finance-bro exclusive". I will try my best to make WIB feel accessible to all, beyond just surface-level networking.

Why me?
•Highly responsive and organized-my experience as an intern, directly under the founder of an Imperial alumni-led startup has greatly strengthened my ability to work within structured-workflows. I plan to introduce a structured newsletter to improve information flow.
•Attention to detail-Precision is EVERYTHING:-as a Type A personality, I will ensure every tiny detail is conveyed.

if you have read till here-thank you so much:) your vote would mean the world to me
