As a candidate for Head of Marketing for the Ophthalmology Society at Imperial College London, my vision is to make our society visible, valuable, and vibrant. Ophthalmology is one of the most innovative and rapidly advancing specialties in medicine, and our marketing should reflect that energy. I will develop a clear, professional, and engaging brand identity across all platforms, ensuring every event, opportunity, and achievement is communicated effectively. By producing consistent, high-quality content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and email bulletins, I will maximise engagement and ensure members are informed and excited about surgical skills workshops, research talks, and networking events. I also aim to expand our reach by collaborating with other Imperial societies and external organisations, increasing awareness of ophthalmology as a career path. Importantly, I will highlight research openings, conferences, prizes, and mentorship opportunities, positioning our society as the central hub for ophthalmology-related opportunities at Imperial. Through cohesive graphics, regular posting schedules, and professional promotion, we will strengthen our reputation both within the university and beyond. I am organised, creative, and committed to delivering impactful communication, and with a clear strategy and consistent execution, I will ensure our society not only informs but inspires.
