Oncology has always been a field of medicine that I am incredibly passionate about. Having been an active sub-committee member of ICSM's Oncology Society this year, I am eager to continue serving the Oncology Society as an Academic Officer. I was involved in facilitating numerous Journal Club talks with eminent professors and researchers. As an Academic Officer, I would aim to continue our society's long-lasting tradition of hosting talks between the top experts in the field. I would also like to further expand our Journal Club through the organisation of essay competitions, and student-led presentations to inspire the next generation of oncologists and oncological researchers.

I'm looking forward to continuing to go above and beyond in my role as a member of Oncology Society!
