Hi everyone! My name’s Anshi, and I’m a first year EFDS student hoping to serve as your VP of Projects at Imperial Consulting Group.
ICG has helped my curiosity about consulting bloom into passion backed by real, client-facing experience. While I had previously interned in investment and due diligence, ICG helped me gain direct consulting experience- not only through events, but more importantly as an Associate at ICG working with Qualitas Funds. It taught me to apply the problem-solving, stakeholder management and financial modelling skills I learned in adjacent sectors to financial consulting and advisory. I’m continuing to grow this skillset, with spring week offers from EY and PwC.
As an ICG Associate, I’ve seen both what works and where we can improve.
If elected, I will focus on three priorities:
1. Project Quality Control: Tighter milestone reviews and clearer deliverables both long term and week-on-week, so clients receive professional-grade output every time.
2. Associate Development: Skill-building workshops on structuring, financial analysis, and slide design before projects begin, so teams go into them with a clearer framework for approaching the work.
3. In-depth Reviews Post-Project: Teams should receive a detailed analysis of what they did right and where they fell short of the client’s expectations so they can apply these learnings in future projects.
With sharper systems and stronger execution, I believe we can grow ICG to have the highest standard of client delivery among the UK's student-run consulting groups. Let’s raise the bar together.
