Hi everyone! My name is Madura, a second year medical student and I am excited to run for Sponsorship officer in Vision Society.

Vision is an inspiring initiative that provides aspiring medical students with the guidance and support they need, helping to make medicine more accessible to everyone. I recognise the vital role that sponsorship plays in ensuring the society runs smoothly and delivers meaningful opportunities.

My experience as Head of Sponsorship for Tamil Society has equipped me with the skills necessary for this role. I built and maintained strong, trusting relationships with external companies and sponsors, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times. At the same time, it strengthened my organisational abilities, as I had to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines, ensuring all sponsorship agreements, documentation, and financial tasks were completed accurately and on time.
