Hi, I’m Anisha!

I've loved being on the Vision subcommittee this year because Vision’s values have always stood out to me as such a caring society of supporting and advising prospective medical students. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed helping out at all the conferences and working with everyone. Seeing the difference these conferences make for young prospective medics has reinforced my enjoyment of being a part of this society. I believe a big part of medicine is community support, and I want to help bring that support to aspiring medics who may not be able to find it anywhere else.

In sixth form, I was a STEM prefect, where I made posters to advertise competitions and events to younger students. I attended and contributed to meetings where the STEM team at our school discussed competitions that we could encourage students to take part in and ways to get younger students interested in STEM subjects.

As publicity officer, I will work to create materials that welcome students of all backgrounds, and will ensure I liaise with the rest of the committee to promote Vision’s events in the best light, as they deserve!
