Anya Chaudhary

Hi everyone! I'm Anya, a second-year Biomedical Technology Ventures student, and I'm running to be your social events coordinator!

The university experience is incomplete without the memorable events that give us the opportunity to connect with the people around us. Being the social events coordinator, I would go above and beyond in bringing the Bioengineering society a plethora of these opportunities.

I'm a good fit for this role because:

1. I've organised several large scale events in the past, including a nationwide debate competition.
2. Being in several other societies and committees means I have the capacity to arrange cross-society events
3. I interact and care deeply about what events society members would like to attend in the future, and would actively calibrate to this feedback

If elected, I would:

1. Proactively organize and consistently maintain welcome week traditions for engagement between different year groups
2. Organize more cross-department and cross-society socials
3. Continue the boat party and the christmas dinner and try to make them even better than they already are, leveraging the experience I have with organizing large scale events.

I hope to make the Bioengineering society the most engaging and memorable it can be, and with your vote, I'm excited to bring you all your favourite events in the upcoming year!
