Hi everyone, I am Hayden, and I am running for the role of secretary in PASS. As a sub-committee member of PASS, I have developed a profound sense of belonging in the community, also relishing in the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds via external flagship events. Inspired by the vision of PASS in raising global awareness and promoting social responsibility, I am dedicated to give back to the community through the role of Secretary.
My passion in social services stems from a self-initiated volunteering project in the Hong Kong Eye hospital, Kowloon PHAB Centre etc. I am thus equipped with substantial experience in managing documents and proactively liaising with various organizations. These skills are directly transferrable to the role of Secretary, enabling me to establish effective communication with the union especially when booking venues and strengthen collaboration with other societies/universities through active outreach to widen social engagement. As a strong team player, I am committed to create a collaborative environment through effective communication, by leveraging digital tools to streamline scheduling and create a centralized shared digital workspace for managing internal documentation. Utilizing my problem-solving skills, I also strive to synthesise various ideas and distill them into concise minutes for later reference.
I am eager to bring my skills and experience to the role of Secretary and contribute to this community, translating our collective vision to practical actions. I look forward to working alongside all of you to bring the mission of PASS to life. Thank you!
