Polina Ivanushkina

Hi everyone,

I’m Polina, a first-year Economics, Finance and Data Science student, and I’m excited to be running for Vice President: Corporate Relations.

Over the past year, I’ve really enjoyed being part of the society and attending some amazing events and projects, including being a member of the Autumn Term Qualitas Imperial College Consulting Group Project, working directly with other students to gain hands-on experience in solving business challenges.

I also worked at IBM Consulting during my Gap Year, supporting many commercial bids and expansion projects, developing skills necessary in the workplace, including organisation, attention to detail, and clear communication.

These experiences have given me insight into how professional relationships are built and maintained, and aw first-hand how firms evaluate partnerships and allocate resources. If elected, I would focus on:

• Strengthening existing sponsor relationships and ensuring consistent engagement across the year.
• Expanding our network to include a wider mix of consulting and advisory firms.
• Working closely with the Events and Case Study teams to deliver company-led workshops, competitions, and meaningful networking opportunities.

I’m comfortable in professional environments, organised, and proactive and I’d love your support to help position our society as a reliable and valuable partner to industry.
