Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières: Secretary

Hello! My name is Sneha/Srisneha, a 4th year medical student and I am running for secretary of FoMSF. I have been a committee member of FoMSF for the last 3 years, holding the roles of social secretary, innovation coordinator, Vice President of Events and as President. Throughout my time as President of FoMSF, I was able to

  • Raised approximately 1200 pounds for MSF
  • Created and establish new successful events for FoMSF which carried through in the year after
  • A 40% increase in the size of the society

It has been a real privilege to hold these roles and I have learnt so much about MSF, humanitarian medicine, fundraising events and marketing. This year, I would love to utilise my past experience and skills to aid in development of this society as secretary. I want to aid in fostering passion for humanitarian medicine and further expanding our reach and success.

For these reasons, I do believe I am a suitable candidate to contribute meaningfully to this society and committee. It would be a great privilege to continue on committee to be a part of this cause. Thank you for reading and please feel free to contact me with any queries or ideas. (sm2122@ic.ac.uk). Thank you!
