Alice Ye

This year, together, we made our Russian Society active, welcoming, and visible across London. We proved that our society is a home for everyone — students from Russia, Kazakhstan, and beyond, as well as all those passionate about the diverse cultures and traditions of our region.

From pub social and our pelmeni workshop to Maslenitsa, our Halloween collaboration with KCL, and the intercollegiate Mafia Night with UCL Eurasian Business Society and six other Eurasian societies, we built a community people genuinely wanted to be part of. We also hosted a Founders Panel with London-based Russian entrepreneurs, connecting culture with real career opportunity.

If re-elected, I will continue delivering free social, cultural, and professional events, expanding collaborations across London universities, and ensuring our society remains open, ambitious, and united. I will also continue contributing my own resources and effort to support the society’s growth and long-term success as we work toward securing future partnerships.
