I am running for Treasurer because I don’t just love this club — I understand how it runs and what it costs to keep it thriving. Having served as Social Secretary, Early Years Officer and as an active player, I’ve seen every side of ICSM Netball. I’ve planned and budgeted major events, negotiated venues, handled full-club payments, and managed subs intake. I also understand the core expenses that keep us competitive: court hire, league fees, coaching, match costs and travel.
My priority is to create a smart, transparent and forward-thinking financial plan. I want to increase and streamline subs payments, clearly break down where money goes, and ensure essential costs are covered while building a reserve fund for future years. Planning the full year in advance — rather than event by event — will allow us to allocate budgets realistically, include contingency buffers, and avoid last-minute financial stress.
Beyond internal budgeting, I want to maximise external income through stronger alumni engagement, sponsorship opportunities and achievable fundraising. With connections across multiple year groups and graduates, I believe we can strengthen long-term financial support for the club.
With experience across the social, educational and playing sides of netball, I am ready to take on an executive role and safeguard our finances so ICSM Netball can continue to grow, compete and succeed.
