Namaste everyone!

My photo? That’s me during the committee dance at Apsara Ball. I had incredible fun choreographing, teaching, and performing it, and it remains one of my favourite memories from this year on committee.

As Design & Marketing Head, I’ve had the privilege of capturing much of HSoc’s journey this year. Being part of a year with strong engagement and ambitious events has shown me just how much work goes on behind the scenes, and how crucial well-managed finances are in making it all possible.

Our current Treasurers have left Hindu Society in a strong financial position, and I am motivated to build on that foundation.

As Treasurer, I will:

• Secure and expand sponsorships to keep events accessible
• Plan budgets early so flagship events remain ambitious without increasing costs
• Support new initiatives, including projects like the proposed Ramayan show

With many of us from this year’s committee stepping up next year, I am excited to continue working together to build on this year’s momentum.
