Vincent Chan

Hello everyone, I am Vincent, a third-year planetary science student and I am running to be your Faculty Wellbeing Rep next year. As the ESE Academic Dep Rep this year, together with my colleague Kevin, we've managed to push for several improvements in the department:

1. Push for the return of unmarked exam scripts to students for post-exam feedback to be more effective – trial runs will be starting in the May Exams,

2. Release of exam feedback from the previous year,

3. Renovated the undergrad common room.

I wish to continue my work as a faculty rep, making changes that includes:

Increasing availability of study spaces,

Increasing interactions between reps of different levels in both ESE and Materials department,

Increase availability of water fountains in the department buildings (one for each level),

Tackle the lack of engagement in student body.
